Installation of 425 lin m of 3m high proprietary sloping ‘ARK’ pre-cast concrete silage wall sections, supplied by specialist Silostop Agri Ltd and shipped from Europe

Construction of an proprietary concrete drainage channel to rear of wall sections to ensure compliance with current SSAFO requirements

Laying of 6,000m2 of specialist ‘silage mix’ asphalt to clamp floors

Outcome
In challenging weather conditions, the project was delivered safely, on time, and within budget, meeting all client and regulatory requirements. The works have resulted in the AD plant now being able to operate at near-capacity.
